I’ve been going to Asian Lotus regularly for over a year now since moving to Waldenbuch, and it’s become one of my go-to spots in town. The restaurant offers a delicious mix of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, always prepared fresh and full of flavor. The food quality is consistently great, and you can really tell they use fresh ingredients.
The dining area is simple and unpretentious—nothing fancy—but clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a small place, which adds to its charm, and the staff is always friendly and efficient.
One important note: it’s cash only, so be sure to come prepared. Other than that, it’s an excellent spot for a casual meal, and I find myself going back again and again. Definitely a hidden gem in this small town!- Essen

I've been writing reviews for several years now and this has got to be THE best value-for-money experience! I had the crispy duck in peanut sauce, #61. There was no skimping on the portion size, double what I expected to receive! The friendly service added to the fun. I very highly recommend visiting this establishment!!

Excellent Asian food! The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. The ambience has room for improvement, but if your are looking for a cozy joint - look no further. Personally I had a great experience.

Great food and beer, decent prices, nice and friendly staff. Reccomend the Tofu with Hoison sauce and the mini spring rolls (if they still have then - get them!).
Best Asian food I’ve come across. Family owned and ran. Prices are unbeatable.
I ordered number 54, 101A and special B. for take away, it was delicious and there was a lot of food. I recommend.
